An interesting site, perhaps useful for parents, students, etc. which is maintaining a list of schools, colleges, universities, etc. that use and promote open software, etc.! :-) Ensure that you are going to be ready for the future, rather than the closed past...And one would hope that this will just be the first of many activities to bring open source to Canadians, otherwise, we will continue to fall further and further behind the rest of the world. And what a waste...apparently, at least $80 MILLION taxpayer dollars a year, just in Quebec, and that is just for some public entities...going to MS!?!! One shudders to think of how many millions (billions?) the governments of Canada, at all levels, have wasted, and continue to waste, sending it to one of the world's wealthiest corporations, while our students can't get access to a computer in school, and when they do, it doesn't work most of the time! Appalling, really. Computer illiterate decision makers, impoverishing our schools, while enriching B. Gates!?!!
