Well, here is another 35,000 computers, in 1100 schools, for 325,000 teachers and students switching to linux reported today. :-)
And then of course, there is the government of France which has, and continues to see the light! :-)

Love my linux (Kubuntu) powered laptop. :-) Works flawlessly all day, everyday :-). And here are another couple of examples of mission-critical uses of linux. NASA uses it to control the Mars rovers, which have vastly outlasted their designed timeline. Talk about stable and reliable, from an out-of-this-world distance! :-) Or how about sequencing the SARS virus in record time?
