Yet another country has woken up to how to best educate their students. Russia plans to install linux on all school computers all over the country! :-) When will Canadian politicians wake up and smell the coffee? At least, even Americans are starting to get the idea! So, as Canadian/Ontario politicians continue to destroy the IT skills that Canadians and students will need in the future because of their computer illiteracy (and computer illiterate advisors, paid lobbyists, etc.), Macedonia, yes, ladies and gentlemen, the country of Macedonia is moving to a one-to-one student ratio using linux. Every single elementary and secondary student in the entire country with a linux system. Shame on the bunglers who run our education system and squander millions of tax dollars.

Are you already using linux? ;-) Already installed and running on over 35 MILLION cellphones! :-) Chances are very good that you are using linux on your cell (or soon will be). And of course, millions of websites, search engines, etc. have been for years...:-)

A nice summary article of the ever evolving state of linux. And I must say a big thank you and hats off to Red Hat, for doing something that PUBLIC school boards, should be doing, i.e. providing excellent educational opportunities for needy children! Please ask your public school boards, politicians, etc., why they are NOT providing linux education in ALL of their schools, and why they are continuing to send millions of tax dollars to one of the world's richest people?
